Professional Soil Testing Services in Roswell, GA
Soil Tests
Testing
Caldwell Tree Care PHC technicians have the knowledge of how, when, and what conditions need to be in order to successfully test the soil on your property. We perform extensive soil testing for macronutrient levels, acidity, and other essential indicators for tree health.
Always remember, the results of the testing are only as good as the soil collected! Soil samples will be sent to a private lab for detailed analysis. Results are sent to the client upon completion.
*Please note that we do not perform percolation tests for septic drain fields or testing for developers. Our service is exclusively used for plant and tree health care.
Results
The results are sent to the client upon completion.Testing costs can be recouped if our PHC service program is initiated based on the results. Additionally, our existing customers can also get soil testing and analysis performed, which would then be used in their program. Please let us know if you have any questions involving this process.
Why Have Your Soil Tested?
Maintaining Proper Nutrition
Testing soil through a comprehensive analysis allows you to maintain proper soil nutrition. By collecting samples and having them analyzed by a private lab, you can obtain accurate results that detail macronutrient levels.
These test results offer invaluable insights into the soil's nutrients and allow you to cater to the unique needs of your trees and shrubs. Without knowing what's in the soil, your plants might suffer from nutrient deficiencies or toxicities. As such, soil testing acts as a preventative measure that allows you to supplement the soil with the right balance of nutrients and cultivate a nourishing environment for plant roots.

Ensuring Timely Responses
Testing ensures timely responses to seasonal changes and unexpected alterations in soil conditions. By periodically taking soil samples and analyzing their nutrient content and soil pH, you can adapt to changes and ensure your plants always have access to the nutrients they need.
For example, changes in soil acidity or alkalinity can affect nutrient availability, which necessitates adjustments in soil pH. By testing soil, you can adjust your care and treatment practices to match the dynamic needs of plants.
Preventing Excess Fertilization
Soil tests play a central role in preventing excess soil fertilization. By determining the nutrient availability and the need for supplements through soil test reports, you can avoid over-fertilization.
Excess fertilizer not only wastes resources but also disrupts the soil's nutrient balance, potentially leading to toxic levels of certain elements. Plus, using more fertilizer than necessary wastes money. As a result, accurate soil analysis ensures that only necessary soil changes are applied.
Identifying Contamination and Other Health Problems
Testing helps identify macronutrient levels, soil acidity, and other health indicators for trees and shrubbery. By understanding your soil better, we can make more educated decisions into what measures to take to ensure the long-term health of your greenery.
You can also mitigate potential risks before they impact the health of your trees, grass, and other plants. With our assistance, you'll have a much clearer picture of your soil's health.
Keeping Your Plants Healthy and Beautiful
It goes without saying, but soil testing is an important practice that helps plants remain healthy and beautiful. By assessing the soil type on your property, you can create the ideal growing conditions for your plants.
